It’s petals are soft and white and have a coat of hair on the back of their petals. It is widespread throughout South of Rogue. |
Exhibition text 2 Title : Twist Flower Medium : Acrylic paint on canvas Size: 30 x 22.5 cm Intentions: This piece of work represents the danger of what a bracted twist-flower face in their habitat , which in this case I have a deer and they find the flower very tasty and causes there to be fewer fields of this specific flower. There are only a few of these left , and is now only located in Texas on private land. |

Exhibition text 4 Title : “The Spicebush” Medium : Acrylic paint on canvas Size : 25 x 20 cm Intentions : This endangered species is also known as “pondberry” and “Southern Spicebush”. They are pink-red berries that provide food for hermit thrushes, swamp rabbits and armadillos along among others. The habitat fragmentation have made it harder for the Southern Spicebush to breed. |
Exhibition text 5 Title: "White Clover" Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas Size: 25 x 20 cm Intention: The flower heads are about 1 inch wide and white, their stem are 2-8 inches long. they're prone to extinction from herbivore, disease and inbreeding that involves clearing land for agriculture and development which again is causing the loss of habitat. |

Exhibition text 7 Title: "Tubular Flowers" Medium: Color pencil on paper Size: 30.5 x 22.9 cm Intention: This native plant is 1-2 1/2 tall, branching occasionally. The dark green stems are modeled and hairless, the flowers are normally in the color lavender to purple. Bumblebees and other long-tongued bee visit the flowers for nectar and pollen, the flowers quiet attractive and are produced plenty around Illinois. |

The height of these flowers are usually 5- 15 inches while the blooms are 1/2 inch long and extremely rare. |
